Stephen Brooker is currently Musical Supervisor for OLIVER! LES MISERABLES and MARY POPPINS (Holland and Australia)

He was Musical Director of THE WOMAN IN WHITE, MY FAIR LADY, MISS SAIGON, LES MISERABLES, LAUTREC, CATS, THE SECRET GARDEN (RSC) and SOUTH PACIFIC (RNT). He supervised MARY POPPINS (London and UK Tour) MY FAIR LADY (USA and UK), LES MISERABLES (New York Revival) CATS, HAIR, MISS SAIGON, DANCING ON DANGEROUS GROUND, CARMEN JONES, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, GREASE, FAME, HAIR, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, PETER PAN, CHESS and is Musical Consultant for the LES MISERABLES 25th Anniversary Tour.

Stephen was composer and conductor for the original production of BURN THE FLOOR and has written and produced music for many corporate clients including Coca Cola, Holiday Inn, Walt Disney, Ford Motors, Toyota Cars, Volvo Cars, Sony Eriksson, BMW and British Airways.

Orchestral conducting credits include concerts with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, The West Australian Symphony, The Haifa Symphony, The Bournemouth Symphony, The Hamburg Sinfonia, The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, The London Mozart Players, The Royal Scottish National Orchestra, The London Philharmonia, The London and Manchester Concert Orchestras and the Ukraine Opera and Symphony Orchestra. Stephen conducted The Royal Choral Society in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.

Recordings include DISNEY FILM CLASSICS and CRAZY FOR GERSHWIN (BBC Concert Orchestra), studio cast recording of HAIR, cast recordings of THE SECRET GARDEN, THE WOMAN IN WHITE and SOUTH PACIFIC. He recorded Michael Ball’s album ‘This Time Its Personal’ and was Orchestrator and Conductor for Walt Disney’s award winning ANIMATORS PALLETE and CINDERELLABRATION for Tokyo Disneyland. He recently produced the ‘live’ recording of OLIVER! starring Rowan Atkinson and the new Dutch recording of MARY POPPINS. Stephen conducted the 21st Birthday Concert of LES MISERABLES, produced the new ‘live’ recording (2010) and will be Musical Supervisor for the 25th Anniversary Concert in London.
